Equity Development, Inc. is an Arizona corporation formed by Gerald F. “Jerry” Bade and Dean Thomas with the express intent of developing quality garage and storage condominium projects. Both principals have decades of experience in real estate development and by serving their community through various social activities.

An Arizona native born the last of thirteen children in 1952, Dean Thomas has spent most of his adult life in the real estate business in one form or another. Beginning with brokering to developers in the late 1970’s and 80’s and then subsequently entering the transactions as a partner largely due to his ability to obtain entitlements on a timely basis he was responsible for numerous projects that changed the Arizona skyline.
Dean has also proven himself adept at the management of companies he has created. Among those have been a large cattle ranch operating on over 25,000 acres, a horse training and breeding facility and a mortgage banking firm. At the present time he owns and operates Absolute Steel and Storage which stores approximately 300 RVs and boats on a rental basis while fabricating and distributing steel buildings throughout the U.S. Absolute Steel has proudly supplied all branches of the U.S. Armed Services with its structures.
Community services include being an active member of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Posse since 1993, he is an avid supporter of the Citizen’s Commission on Human Rights and Dean also gives his time and support to Second Chance, a criminal and drug rehabilitation facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
When not with Kim, his wife, and their four children, you’ll probably find Dean at a neighborhood rodeo arena, team roping with some of his roping buddies.

Originally from Washington, Jerry has been in Arizona since receiving an MBA at Arizona State University. In 1971 he founded B&B Construction and Development where he was responsible for acquisitions, financing and management of the company’s commercial projects.
During Jerry’s tenure at the company, B&B Construction & Development built, owned, and operated 22 retail developments, 2 mini-storage facilities, 1 mobile home park, 1 RV park, and numerous offices, apartments and residential projects. On a contractual (build to suit) basis, B&B Construction and Development constructed banks, medical facilities and municipal buildings. During this same time, Jerry was also one of the founders of Sun City Bank, a member of its Board of Directors and later, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank.
Since an early age Jerry has always given back to society beginning with the Peace Corps in 1963 through 1965 where he served in Pakistan. He then spent four years in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Spalding Foundation and Head Elder at the First Lutheran Church in Prescott, Arizona.
When not spending time with his lovely wife, Harriet, of forty four years, Jerry enjoys golf, hiking and travel which includes visiting his two sons and grandchildren.
